Seventy two percent. That's the percentage of U.S. workers reporting moderate to high stress levels right now, according to Aflac's 2025 WorkForces Report. It's the highest number recorded in seven years. Read that again. Nearly three out of every four people you know are carrying a level of stress that's affecting their health, their relationships, and their ability to simply function.
If you're feeling it too, you're not imagining it. You're not weak. You're responding exactly the way a human nervous system responds when it's constantly under siege.

Because that's what's happening. We are living in a time of nonstop input. Notifications. Headlines. Opinions. Comparisons. Every device in your hand is a doorway for someone else's noise to enter your mind, day and night, without your permission. Your nervous system was never designed to process this much information this fast, for this long, without rest.
This is why protecting your mental space isn't a luxury anymore. It's a necessity.
I'm not talking about shutting the world out completely. I'm talking about being intentional. Creating boundaries around what gets access to your mind and your energy. Choosing, on purpose, what you let in and what you don't. That is not isolation for the sake of avoidance. That is isolation for the sake of integrity, so you can stay aligned with what you believe, what you say, and what you do.
Because here's the truth. Chronic stress doesn't just make you tired. It wrecks your sleep, your immune system, your hormones, your relationships, and your sense of self. It pulls you further away from the woman you actually want to be.
You get to take control of this. You get to decide what deserves your attention and what doesn't. You get to protect your peace the same way you'd protect anything else that matters to you.
That starts with one decision. Today, choose one thing you will stop letting in. One notification you turn off. One conversation you walk away from. One moment you give yourself instead of giving it away.
Feel Good. Be Well.
